– 1 kg of beef
– 150 grams of smoked bacon
– 2 large onions
– 3 carrots
– 2 cloves of garlic
– 1 bottle of red wine
– 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
– 1 sprig of fresh thyme
– 1 bay leaf
– Olive oil
– Salt and pepper
– Beef broth (optional)

This recipe serves 6 people and has a total of approximately 500 calories per serving.

Step 1:
The first thing to do is cut the meat into large cubes and season it with salt and pepper. In a large, deep pot, heat a little olive oil over medium-high heat and brown the bacon cut into pieces. Once it is crispy, we remove it from the pot and reserve it on a separate plate.

Step 2:
In the same pot, add the meat cubes and brown them over high heat until golden brown on all sides. You remove them from the pot and reserve them along with the bacon.

Step 3:
